Yep, we as a group of supporters (notice i didnt say fans) need to shake ourselves and get back on side.
I dont agree in long term booing, the message has to be clearer. but ill say i was shouting "what a load of rubbish" at the end because it was and its a message which needed to be heard by the players, the players are creatures of habbit and they will look into the crowd at their usual spot and look for what our reactions to their performance just like a child looks at their parents to see if they have done good, i also didnt clap them off i did my usual when im upset about the performance of the lucky sods who have the chance and the ability to wear the red shirt i pointed to the tunnel, the usual suspects looked up and trudged off to our new tunnel knowing they'd let me personally and themselves down, if i do see them at leeds i know they will look again and ill give them my honest opinion, at Hull kr i did a hand sakey "it was alright" movement they understood.
These rough hooligan fans we keep banging on about are just that fans, they dont get behind the boys its all anti yorkshire or anti scouse its nothing positive and need to led into supporting the team, unfortunately with our supporters dwinndling due to absence, boring mind numbing play and relocation around the ground the supporters in the shed dont have the vocal muscle we once had.
Id be happy moving down the shed and start again, but you have to remember people stand down that end for a reason and might not like some of our "crazy bonkers" element turnin up and making a racket.
I agree with Mr Rossi and the red preacher there was a time when we just backed the team to the hill week in week out regardless what was goin on behind the scenes, its 80 minutes of love thats all we can give after that on the way home you can cry like a baby if you like but supporting the red shirts regardless of how bad they perform will get that extra 10% out of them which imo can be the difference between victory and defeat.
you dont have to sing the songs to be a supporter, positive attitude = positive results, im sure a few positive shouts will make you and the players feel better.
After all that i might now go to leeds
