Hopefully not, he won't improve on the wingers we currently have, even just until the end of the year.
Which wingers have we got, that are fit, there are as effective as Charnley?
Both the Thewlis' are about as effective as charnley, Wrench and Tai on the wing would be about as effective, and the weird decision to play King on the wing is as effective. Charnley although has some great individual trues scored the vast amount of his tries due to his centres and some really easy tries anyone could score. I could be wrong but i've always thought he's a bit overrated.
I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one. He's 2nd on the list of all time SL try scorers! He gets decent yards on kick return, still has reasonable pace, and is solid defensively.
To compare him to King or Tai as a winger is not credible in my view.
