Does anyone think Ritchie has had a stand out or even very good performance for us so far this season?. I have seen every game and with the exception of the friendly at Leigh he hasn't.



I hate to say this but he seems lost without Briers. So much for Andrew Johns taking his blinkers off. I hope that he gets some confidence because at the moment I don't see this as money well spent.

He's 19 years old. He's been solid with a few sparks. Watch him flourish when Briers is back.

But can he cut it without Briers ?

Not yet no, although there was little criticism of him over the previous three weeks. Could Eastmond without Pryce acting as foil, or Tomkins without Leuluai?

Nail on head. He needs Briers.



Does anyone else think Solomona is making a better effort at wide pivot than Grix when he comes on the field?

We can't afford to let him learn or even carry a player and try and win the league. I appreciate we have had our best start for years but we need him to step up quickly as we cant expect King to put in MOM performances every week we win.

He needs Briers desperately, he can't create alone. He needs to feed off a more dominant halfback. Last night, we put so much through Solomona it was untrue. This happened because he's the more likely to create, moreso that Myler. We overused Solomona I felt really.



Grix isn't a halfaback, he's a loose.



Get Briers back, and look a that option. Get Solomona back on that left edge, out wide. He's far more dangerous connecting with the left edge than right.

Richie will be our top try scorer this year. I actually think he was the better of our three pivots last night trying to mix things up a little, but as has been said already on here , he's only going to get better and better the more he plays with Briers. He will pick up a lot of Briers organisational and kicking skills over the next year or two so if you add that to his already fantastic support play, we will have a special player on our hands for the next 12 years or so.

Why is trying to win the league this year so important? And why would it be purely Myler's fault if we can't/don't?



I think you have set your expectation levels way too high - personally I'm looking for another good set of performances in the cup, and a good strong finish to the season in the playoffs. Anything more than that would be a huge, gratefully received bonus.

Winning the league is important, why bother entering a competition and not having the aspiration to win? I'm sorry but this is a defeatist attitude. TS may say its only about the performances but we all know thats a load of b*****cks if we are sat at the bottom of the league having put in some good performances.
