| Depends what age you are, I am at the more senior end of the scale so the places I go to when in Perpignan won't be good if you are a young whipper snapper.
If you want some restaurant recommendations then PM and I will reply.
For everyone Collioure is a fantastic beach resort and only 20 miles from Perpignan.

i'm 44 with the mental age of a 15 year old, i've done perpignan every time so far, but as stated before i've done the drunk at the castille bit most times, food wise i've tried most of the local resturants and enjoyed most.
i'm planning on doing the beach bit (thanks for the tips) but was looking for a bit of culture this time.
i believe there's an arabic part to the town but have never found it yet, museums sound good but not sure where they are! any tips?
will undoubtably be getting levelled match day after tasting the local fayre available along with the world record attempt.

| La Grand Folie in Perpignan is a restaurant we always go to when In Peppy.
The food is first class. Its about 70 Euro Is for a couple and that includes three courses , a bottle of good wine and a delicious coffee afterwards. They don't speak much English so take a phrase book for the menu, but they only do three choices for each course. The Granmd Folie isn't much use for kids. The Cafe Vienne does nice food but does get busy.
The Cathedral San John is very old and a well worth great place to visit again this is in Perpignan

| Slim, unfortunately we're not making the trip this time so wont be stopping for a a bevvie with you at the castile after the game.
If you have transport for your trip, Carcasson is a good day out, history, culture , decent food etc. Although you may have done that before when we played London.
Anyway have a good'n wherever you end up

| Canet is worth a trip, seaside beach resort and you can get a bus from Perpignan. Also some nice vineyards if you like your wine. Failing that make sure you drink Desperados!
Oh and don't forget the rugby match!

| I am not touting so please Admins don't remove: I have three spare tickets for the game owing to a funeral . They were bought from the club shop by my father and are for the Wire end. I would like to pass them on (and cover most of the cost) so if anyone hasn't got tickets yet and wants them (or some of them) please send me a PM, I will be in Perpy from Friday lunchtime. They cost £15 each but will take some Euros for some beer rather than see them wasted.
Cheers,
Tim.

| Thought I would bump this topic as we are only a couple of weeks away from the game.
So who is going then?
I will be there for my first visit - anyone got any good tips in terms of things to see/do and nightlife? Where do the Warrington fans tend to congregate the day of the match?

| I'll be there with Mrs Bling and the baby for the first time. Out of interest, how easy is it to get from the airport to the city centre? Are there frequent buses or is it a cab jobby?
