| Has anybody heard any figures from either Leeds or Warrington ?
It seems to have gone very quiet. I hope this doesn't mean a low crowd as it will spoil the atmosphere.

| Huddersfield Giants 16-25 Warrington Wolves
Attendance 76,560
Leeds Rhinos 6-30 Warrington Wolves
Attendance 85,217
Wigan Warriors 28–18 Leeds Rhinos
Attendance 78,482
Let’s face it even if it’s as low as the Huddersfield game, there's well enough people to create the required atmosphere.
Jack.

| It's always like this when it's two teams who have been in the final recently. Particularly when one side is a clear favourite. There will still be 40,000 neutrals at the final who go every year and I doubt there will be any major problems. Wire will take 20,000 (Between direct sales, coach trips and tickets bought from the RFL) and Leeds will take a decent number as well. I'd go for 78,000.

I think you are right, while you are on, here is a question or two for you as a 'neutral', are you really?
In the 'good old days' neutral fans may have adopted a favourite on the day in this case Lancs v Yorks might be a reason to back us or Laids. Have times changed, who do you want to win and why?

| I was wondering the same thing too.
I thougt the atmosphere was pretty flat in 2009 and missed 2010 so was hoping for a full house like then.
Anyway - hopefully will be over 80k.

Sadders lives in Warrington and one day will support Warrington if us doesn't already. He'll be in his P&B come the day.

Personally I think spreading the trophies around is a good thing. Having Warrington emerging as you are into a gargantuan of the sport is a good thing, so I'd probably slightly favour a Warrington win both in the CC Final and SL. I would prefer Catalans (I'm ruling Saints out completely as we're not up to it) to win the GF for the benefit of the sport, but I think that's bordering on an impossibility. I don't mind Leeds despite all the GF victories over us and I've no Lancs/Yorks sway, I was born in Cheshire and neither county means anything to me.
As for Ian 77 Redux, if the SL GF is Wire v Wigan I'd actively support you through it. Might well turn off/leave at full time however, not sure I'd want to watch the aftermath of a Wire GF win. I'll never be a Wire for more than a day. I've spent a decade watching Saints come 2nd to Wigan, watching them come 3rd or 4th with Warrington winning will be easy by comparison.

Strange that, Saddened. What's happened in the past 48 hours to change your opinion? On the Saints site you've been the one person who seems to be in agreement with Northampton Saint and his 'extreme' views of both the Warrington Club and its fans.
It must be really hard for you living amongst all us 'knuckle draggers.'

| I think its a real pity that the Club Wembley seats are always empty, especially as they are so noticable.

Thank you for your detailed response.
To complete my Saddened Census, were you born in Cheshire/Cheshire, or Lancashire/Cheshire? By that I mean using the old fashioned River Mersey as the great divide. If you are Cheshire/Cheshire south of the river then why Saints? If you were north of the river then why no affinity with Lancashire, is it an age thing?
