Why is there no way we’re going down? We won’t get an easier shot at 2 points than last night and we blew that. Toulouse will beat us at home and we’re definitely losing the next two. We’re in the mire, deep in the mire.

If Wakey and the French pick up points we're in the mire. Leigh will be more determined than our overpaid shower and I would expect to lose against them

Without question Leigh would beat us at the minute and handsomely. We’re currently not deserving of a place in SL.

Our 4 point cushion and better points difference may give a little optimism, but with each game the teams confidence, belief and willingness to battle to the end, is being eroded. Let's re-assess this on 12th August.

There is nothing enjoyable about this season, the only comfort I can grasp at is that the board have upped the ante for recruitment and have back the ruthless disposal of many under performing stars. However there are no signs that the board view this crisis for what it is and that's a serious threat of relegation, will they act before its too late? I really hope we can get a couple of wins in the next few games but if we don't then something needs to change surely.

I really hope your post isn't being re-quoted in twelve months time as we prepare for a tough visit to Halifax to try and climb off the foot of the championship table.
