I am not a coach, I'm just a fan...smith has done a great job with us, but our/his recruitment has been poor (excluding Matty Russell) I don't agree with some of the things that he does, but maybe that is just me...if you asked the question 'would we be better without him?' Several of the players simply don't look upto the required standard, those few that are upto standard, are not doing it on the field - When that happens questions have to be asked of your coach.



Whilst I'm not advocating any 'Smith Out' campaign, I would always remind people that however good a coach may be, they do have a natural lifespan at any one club - It just might be that Smith has reached that point at Wire and it could be time for a fresh face with fresh ideas, who, supported with some fresh finance from Simon Moran, could shake up the squad, which, if anything, is showing signs of lethargic complacency.

You have to take into consideration that it was a Friday evening fixture and during the start of the Easter holidays.

Start of the easter hols last year we played huddersfield at home on the friday night and the attendance was 9817 , imo attendances are falling and you can't blame supporters with the dross that is getting served up

With the nastiness of the M62 East Hull to Warrington on a Friday night isn't good ,we may have got a couple of thousand more if we'd played Sunday afternoon. Buts hats off to the noisy HKR fans who made it.
