No Gidley, Currie, Westwood, Sandow. Tough ask.

I'd really like to see Johnson at full back and not Russell. I'd like to think Smith has the sense to see that the better option is to lose to Hull and this is his attempt to lose....by playing people in their correct position and he'll wonder why it'll backfire when we romp to victory.

Running out of troops. Sad to say we look a beat up team. I will be cheering the boys on but not confident of a result.

Another "Heart" vs "Head" ruling. Head seems to think that with our current crop of injuries (no excuses) our "inexperienced" 'youngsters' will not quite see the game through to the victory we deserve. However, my romantic heart, believing in Karma, would like to see that three defeats we have suffered against them this season means only one thing....revenge! COYW!

TS is backed into a corner by the injury crisis we are in, he has no choice but to play them! If he had fit players they wouldn't be in the 17 man squad. Of course this could all be a masterplan (not the injuries) and this game is the warm up for Penny and Lineham before the semi?

He has the choice to play Rhys Evans (I'm presuming he's the one to make way) instead of one of them if he likes.

That may be, but a game for Penny and Lineham might get them back into the swing of things before the season really starting the week after where it really is crunch time and we may also have Gidley and Sandow back for the Play-offs.

On a point of clarity Penny is not recalled, he is usually in the 19 and was for the previous game for sure.

He is actually playing this time though.

Lot of pressure on Penny hopefully he shows that we have needed his pace for many a game this season. Lineham in the team will please Hull they know exactly how to deal with him.
