For what its worth I met loads of Huddersfield fans yesterday and they were all a pleasure to talk to. Good luck to the Giants I hope you do well in the play offs.

Take my hat off to all the Hudds fans I met yesterday both before & after the game, there was nothing but good natured banter with everyone. I hope Hudds go all the way in the play offs - I am sure I wont be the only Wire who will be a Giant for the day (providing we dont get there of course!)

Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, with the exceptional atmosphere before, during and after the game, only compounding my thoughts that this was a a fantastic weekend out enjoyed by both teams and fans. It really was a superb example of a family sport. Credit to all Hudds fans that i spoke to even when we were all a bit worse for wear, top trip, and i only hope you guys go on to do well in the playoffs. God, i've put some beer away!

We took a football fan with us to his first Wembley rugby league final. I can't tell you how many times we had to explain to him that fans from different clubs can mingle and the police love our visit to the capital because of the atmosphere. By the end of the day he was posing for photos with police officers and the horses and chatting to everyone and thought it was great! Definately a great way to spread the word!

Seeing comments like this makes you realise what a fabulous game we have. Not many other sports where you'd get opposing fans mixing with each other before and after a game.

I was walking around the outside of the stadium with my son, wearing a Spartan Hoplite helmet for my sins, when a Wire fan asked if he could have a photo, so he stood in the middle of us for the pic. your guys wanted it more, TS did his homework on our moves and patterns and your players carried them out, we couldn't match you simple as that, the first try totally deflated us as did the first disallowed try but we werent good enough.

happy for your fans who were brilliant throughout the day and totally outclassed us off the field

i agree i hope hudds win the play offs if we dont make it!! my day was slightly spoilt by a few wigan fans who insisted on calling us cheating wire scum! and we are all interbred apparently!! lol good luck in play offs hudds
