My father took me the 1967 Australian's tour match. Australia won 16-7. Stand-off Willie Aspinall scored the Wire try. I was then hooked me and friend where the only two Wire fans to catch the bus from Lymm for two or three years but in then the numbers started to grow.

Mine was Bradford home 2007 and I have only missed one home game since. I first moved to Warrington in 2000 when I was posted here with the Army in2000. I was a football fan then so I never went to watch the rugby. However on leaving the army we moved back to Warrington where I got the bug after my first game. Me, my wife & two children are season ticket holders since the 2008 season. It's brilliant.

Rochdale at home in the early 70s when we had already won the league/championship, whatever it was called. I remember the players running out and chucking toffees into the Fletch.

1993 against Halifax at home when I was 10, a night game where the floodlights went out for over 20 minutes. I had been going to Warrington Town games before with my neighbours but that night they invited me to the Rugby.



I still loved the game even though it was cold and we were standing around in the dark for a bit of the night. I bought a season ticket for £10 the day after and have been buying a season ticket ever since, I never have gone back to watch Warrington Town.
