Been said on a previous thread that Bridge will appear at FB tomorrow. If both Monaghan's are missing then that could well be spot on. Can't see him or Blythe out on the wing personally.

I can't see why he would put Bridge at FB when Riley was understudy last year, why would he drop down the pecking order and Bridge suddenly become back up fullback.



I would've thought that Riley or even Rhys have more experience than Bridge at FB. All this said, I think as a stand in, he would be dangerous from there, I think he's dangerous from anywhere but when he's spent years finding his position, sort of shedding the utility tag, it wouldn't make sense to shift him for me.

Fullback isn`t a position that you would want to play a player at thats returning from a muscle tear especially a player who isn`t familiar with the position, fullback these days is a fairly testing position to play as you rarely get a breather.



In attack your constantly following the play as a support runner and quite a few of the modern day full backs play as an extra half back, in defence your constantly moving about following the path of the ball, also you get constantly turned round with kicks where you have to chase after the ball then return it with interest.

Nothing against Mickey but not sure what he is providing that Clarke can't. And he always drops in a daft knock-on and/or penalty.



Would prefer to see Mitchell or McCarthy given a chance, which would give us more options in the forwards.

I didn't think Atkins would play, I thought Bridge would be back but not Atkins, part of me wanted him not to be back to have another look at Evans at centre.
