Brilliant win, against a team, which were, PATHETIC. They didn't look interested from the first whistle. Most teams from the championship would have put up a better display
Great to see us putting in an 80 minute performance, and really putting them to the sword. RUTHLESS.
Last year it was 56 within 65 mins, and we didn't score a point for the last quarter of an hour. Today, relentless. It looked like we'd been fed on scraps of raw meat all week, and Smith told them to destroy Quins. JOB DONE
One last note, how AWESOME was Monaghan (M) for the first 30 mins. Just drifting left all the time, and they could barely lay a finger on him. No wonder Bridge ended up with a hat-trick in no time, with Monaghan dictating play to go left, continuously. SUPERB.
Loved the tongue in cheek booing of Hodgson when he missed that kick (and his applause back to the people in the North). AT LAST, a goal kicker in name, rather than something he can do. Not had one since Davies was in his pomp.

Quite correct Tricky Dick (See what I did there) any chance you can get Pryce back that you are so under strength as he was awsome today. Not. I loved the way he was taken off after we destroyed him with the first three or four tries. P.S. We will also be under strength without King, Anderson & Atkins just for good measure.  |
