| Youll have to win all your games to finish top i expect, a draw against us would be enough but thats hugely unlikely. If you win all your games you'll finish on the same points as we did last year which is a good achievement.
Im expecting the worst when we have to travel to your place after the final, could easily be 50+, that said i hope he (madge) plays some of the academy lads who would no doubt put everything in that game to impress.

| Personally I reckon Catalans away is a more important game than many are giving it credit for. I think many people expect us to lose and are to a degree prepared to settle for second knowing that it doesn't make a great difference finishing second or first when the play offs start.
However, our last three games are all very difficult. Catalans away and Wigan at home speak for themselves, but since when was Hull away an easy fixture, especially if they're playing for a top eight spot? Lose all three and we could conceiveably lose second spot to Saints as well as enter the play offs in shocking form. Beat Wakefield on Sunday and then beat Catalans to secure top two as quickly as possible and push for first.
Write the Catalans game off as many seem to be and it could cost us dearly.

| If Huddersfield get a result at Saints on Friday and we beat Wakey on Sunday then we are guaranteed a top 2 spot.

| If we get to a stage against Wigan still one point down going into the game I would love to stuff them to go top, no doubt they will be milking the CC win for all its worth.

| I think it'll be Wigan finishing top, as it is now, by the 1 point. I think Warrington will lose out in Perpignan, but beat Wigan at the HJ.
It would be brilliant if Crusaders beat Wigan at the DW though to lose them the league last game of the season and for us to leave Super League on a massive high that's if we have a side to field...

Agreed. We are capable of beating anybody on our day. We shouldn't fear the Catalans game, okay we don't have the greatest record there however we only suffered a narrow defeat there last year did we not?
The fact that Catalans have done the double over Wigan and beaten the likes of Huddersfield, ourselves and Leeds this year shouldn't be forgotten, however nor the should the fact that they were beaten quite convincingly by Salford at home and also Quins put 20 odd past them at their place.

And that was all down to complacency really, as Crusaders beat them the weekend before out in Perpignan. Catalans defence isn't the best by no means and with Wire having the best attack in the league, you could be right. The weather is the biggest factor for me. Playing in mid-August when its out in its hottest. Rugby League players are fit, but will they be able to cope for the full 80 when Catalans are used to this heat and adapt to it very well? First 20 minutes of the game is crucial. Need to make sure you complete sets, keep your discipline and hopefully get some points on the board.

Very good point - must confess I didn't really consider the Hull FC as much as perhaps I should. You're right, if they're playing for a top 8 spot, there should be a really big crowd, intimidating atmosphere and a very physical hard game.

I think you'll beat us in that game, but I'd be relatively suprised if you got through all of the other unscathed.

| I think it would be a fitting end to the regular season if there is only one point in it when Wigan and Wire meet. That game would be huge with the winner effectively taking the League Leaders Shield.
