I thought Briers was the best back on the field, I'll put jim joint 3rd with Hill as he dealt with a baptism of fire debut with immense credit.



Westwood looked a threat everytime he carried the ball, should never have passed for Joel's try.

Plenty of other great performances too. Not many teams will go to the Galpharm and leave with any points this year.

Briers, Westwood and Morley for me. Great performances from all over the field though, especially in the pack.

Mike Cooper looked the best prop on the field, plus he helped set up one of the tries with good handling skills. Lots of good performances. I was a little disappointed in Waterhouse: did nowt wrong but was not the destructive runner I've been hearing about.

Moz and Westwood (is he even human?) were absolutely tireless and Briers is so good I still can't imagine our team without him. Irreplaceable.

We made it easy for them at times on the left hand side. Waterhouse is the go to man on that side, doesn't mean we need to go to him everytime though. They numbered up on him, more than once the better pass would have been to miss Waterhouse out and go to Atkins, ratchford or Riley outside of him but it wasnt seen.
