Because an obvious lack of a natural kicking game worked so well for us in round 1? Personally I would keep 1,6 and 7 the same until Russell is fit and then hopefully form wise it will be a selection headache for tony smith. Nothing wrong with Myler as a half though we just need to start thinking if him as more of a Danny maguire type back than a briers replacement and then we can start to appreciate his qualities. He doesn't have a natural kicking game but he should still be working on it, as kicking options keep an opposition defence guessing and a little easier to put on the back foot.

If it's true about Harrison, life just got a bit harder. Ben is a player I rate hugely, he (and Carvell) had the best offload game at the club whilst his size and workrate would have been a huge boost to a beleaguered pack.



I don't expect any huge suprises with team-selection and I don't expect anything other a narrow win either way, because both sides need it badly.

All I know is that they had a team run today, someone put Harrison through a hole and he dropped like a sack of spuds holding his hamstring. Few of the players I've spoken to reckon he will be out for about 4 weeks. I'm sure you will see on match day
