Looks a different player, buit he did deserve the criticism years ago as his defence was gash. If he truley has that sorted now, what a weapon to have in attack

Thought he was our MoM, Wheeler was also very good last night.

I was amazingly impressed with penny last night, we looked strangely dangerous with him linking up on the outside and he was marshalling the defence pretty well, I don't know how much he's played fb away from here but he almost looked a natural last night.



Quite happy with how professional he was after the high shot and getting pushed into the advertising boards.



Never seemed to lose his rag

I've said all along it wasn't Penny or Riley.

In most games a winger is only as good as his pass!



Atkins as much as I like his strength attacking has poor passing techniques. I still rather see him switch to the back row, where we can get better uses of that attack from him and where his passing isn't quite so critical.



Penny laid down claims in that opening game that he could cover as fb, there were one or two on here who dismissed that theory giving it to me as usual, thanks to the lad he has stuffed that down their throats.

When TS bought Kev back to the club , I was very dubious about Kev and also Mr Smith's thinking. I am very happy to say that both Kev & TS have proved me & my thinking to be wrong.



I suppose that's why TS is a top class RL Coach, Kev is a good quality SL player and I am am boring old Civil Servant.

That was a great catch. Another big performance last night despite being shunted to fullback. From memory that's the first time he's played there for us - against the Aussies. Fair play to him.

It really is remarkable how he has turned his career around.



He deserves all the plaudits he gets for this lazaraus like return.

Would you not agree that at fb Penny was able to show what he can offer when given the opportunity to take the ball off players with quality distribution?



Would you not agree that those opportunities are considerably reduced playing outside Atkins?

There was a point towards the end where atkins shouldve released penny but chose not to. Atkins' weakness has always been his passing game. If kev is to play on the wing he will need better service.

It is barely believable that he has managed this comeback, almost like some Hollywood film script.



He is playing with his heart on his sleeve and pride in playing for his home town, heroic stuff.

He is superb. You would never guess that he'd look so good at full back. He runs in as hard as anyone and his hands looked great. We also know that he's capable of scoring the odd snorter. What a plus! Love 'im. He'll require and deserve a pay rise pretty soon.

Steady on, your suggesting something we've all seen happen before and we know what happened then.
