Lol. Okay but I wouldn't have raised the point had Wire actually had won the marginal vs Hull.

Unfortunately the history of "coincidence?" continues.

There is (apparently) scientific evidence behind the effect of colours in sport, particularly teams in red winning more.

Well for sure Wire are more successful when a significant area if the kit is white.

I must say, Hull have played in black & white for as long as i can remember ,usually with a 50/50 split between the the colours, & have ,just like Widnes, been a mostly mediocre team.

Add to that the talk of "what will be a good season?" and "TS really needs to win something now as its been 5 years"

How do we explain this one? I suppose Tony was wearing white.

I recall us losing in two major competitions either side of the hubcap where margins would be significant in a win or lose scenario...which incidently were both against teams with a large proportion of the strip in white!



I don't know wether a league structure over the course of a season, has enough marginal games to make a difference what strip a team would wear. Us winning the hubcap could say that there isn't?

Throw into that, that a good run of healthy players and depth would also effect the run of a team over a season where winning at all costs doesn't really factor.
