i think Lineham will play..... away at the Club he came from... Smith is hoping for one of those amazing returning player performances.



infact, Lineham and Penny on the wings is probably his last roll of the dice with the players he has fit.

Surely he'll go with Evans and King on the right with Atkins and penny on the left?

Or is one of those injured?

I could see TS playing Atkins in the back row with Toby King and Evans in the centres. That's probably the only way he can include both Lineham and Penny.

I think we'll see our back line from the start of the season. Russell, Lineham, Evans, Atkins, Penny.



Smith may well have changed his mind on who his new scapegoat is and dropped Toby after his intercepted pass last week.

Can just imagine the inner turmoil, Penny or Lineham...Lineham or Penny...hello U13's coach who are your wingers...

Those two fine spectres have picked a fine time to come back & haunt Mr Smith. I hope he remembers them in his memoirs.

You have to suspect one of them won't be selected.

Or will be played out of position.

Evans, Penny or Russell could play fullback.

The Guardian have confirmed Russell at full back, Lineham & Penny on the wings, Rathcford & Patton in the halves.

I'd actually consider this as well but not necessarily for the same reason. Atkins probably has the build for a centre roll and this season, very often, thats where he's chosen to play. Result has often been our wingers have been slated for poor defensive performances (Ormsby hat-trick for Huddersfield) when in fact its the centre who's gone walkabout and they have been left exposed.

Expect Lineham to be targeted by Fonua, Pritchard, Manu, Minichello, Ellis...and thats before our props get involved.....
