When was the last time we played Widnes in a knock out game?

Give Widnes the 50 point treatment, beat Saints after they lose. Cas or Hudds would pick us. Dunno if that's right but sounds easy enough.

hey Widnes, leave our posts alone.

Let's get real, we are capable of both beating and being beaten by any of the sides left. Let's not assume that any team will be easy, even a 12 man Saints in their current state ran Hudds extremely close.

We will win, almost no doubt in my mind.



Playing on Saturday would give our players an extra couple of days to rest & recuperate. We could have Super Ben & Bridgey back for the following week.

I'd like to say we should walk this but I'm just not feeling it. When I see the 19 I'll know for sure, but my minds still set on our injury list..

Well Widnes seem to really get up of late for games against us, plus we will probably get Bentham again.

A team of our quality should easily beat Widnes at home.

Grix Harrison Westwood Bridge are all out and we've been inconsistent all season apart from that spell of 10 games mid season.



I also think the fact they've beaten us three of the last four times we've played them people think a bit negatively about playing Widnes.



However I think Tony Smith will take this one seriously and I think we'll win handsomely.

They will face a full strength team (injuries allowing) on a grass pitch and the game will be over by half time.... nothing to see here.
