Didn't we get penalised on Thursday for the ref saying the tackle was complete & our player carried on playing? A couple of occasions in the Hull game the player was just told to go back& play the ball.

Yes, Wigan have been our biggest rival, but the club has been in decline of late with both their performances and crowds falling. And we used to get a fair few Leeds supporters bragging about all those GF wins, but that has also disappeared. So hardly surprising that we now have a smattering of Saints fans. particularly when they had by far and away the best team in SL last year but were beaten by us in the CC. That must have really hurt.

Annoys me that rule. You were done because Ashton passed the ball which is always penalised. If you carry on running you get told to go back. What's the difference?

The difference is you can’t always hear the ref shout “held” but you should know when a tackle to the floor is complete. No issue about that penalty, but the break was fantastic, one of the stand out moments for me.

It looked to me like Charnley has been told to cut down on the “leg trapping” which is a relief as it was really bugging me!
