I did the bounce. Once we'd gone 24-0 up. It was actually quite fun and added to the atmosphere, I'm not sure about the turning your back on the game to do it though...

Think there was a mix of some turning their backs and others not. I was in the latter camp.

Rangers have been doing it for years, but instead of "We're gonna bounce in a minute" - which their Blues Brothers Chelsea (look it up) copied from Liverpool's old Torres song when they started doing it - Rangers sing, "If you cannae dae the bouncy you're a Tim". I am a Tim and won't be doing any bouncy.



The version some Warrington fans do - and started doing last season without turning their backs - is exactly what Chelsea do. The back turning thing was copied from Lech Poznan via Man City recently.

What difference does it make where a chant/song comes from? If you like it, you sing. If you don't, you don't. For my two penneth worth, if we only sang/chanted 'original' Wire-fan composed dittys it would be a very quiet stadium!

(For the record, I don't normally bounce but got carried away on friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it!)
