Highlight - the close defeat to St. Helens at home ........ how sad is that !!!!



Lowlight - the numerous capitulations from winning positions where previously our attack was dubious but the defence was pretty much rock solid ....... what on earth happened to our defence ?????

Highlight - meeting some pretty sound people on my early trips up on the south stand, finding myself caring a LOT more than I thought i would. Thewlis looking like a player.



Lowlight - the fact we can’t play the whole game, feels like so many collapses

Every year we say this. In the late TS era we were bragging about how we had so many home grown products in the first team. That's great if you're a winning side like Wigan but pretty worthless when you're at the wrong end of the table.



Anyway I can see the narrative on here next year - when all the new big signings come in and we're still losing everyone will be demanding they get dropped and bring back the young team from 2022 because "at least they had pride in the shirt".

Low point - HKR. Two sizeable leads thrown away, against a side who shouldn't even be on our radar.

Hightlight: The signing of Dufty and his performances I suppose

If that counts as a highlight then Wire had plenty of times where they dropped a massive turd at halftime.

Not sure about Mikaele. He’s been utterly dreadful last few games. Blowing after one carry. Looks like he’s put weight on and he’s messing around with footwork before most of his carries which makes them far less effective. Total liability in defence as well.

Highlight - Beating Leeds and Cats plus signing Dufty



Lowlight - Regular pathetic and inadequate performances. Knowing at the start of 2023 season that next year will be our year
