A very good signing, and another player who can provoke message board banter by having his surname constantly misspelled, so that's a win-win.

This looks like a cracking signing, well done everyone at Wire!



Cue saints fans saying he is crap etc. and only a 1/50th of the signing Dominique Peyroux was.

He's a small prop/second row with no ball handling skills as far as I can remember. He's a solid pro, and good luck to him.

As a souths supporter it’s a bit well, meh. Workman like is how I would describe him. He won’t break a tackle or pass the ball but will always give 110%. Much better options out there for south’s but should do well in superleague as the standard is much lower

A forwards prime is often around 27-29...so you gave to ask the question... why is he surplus to requirement?

If he starts the way Cuthbertson did for Leeds, he'll do for me.

Well I have just watched his 2016 highlight reel on a certain media sharing site that proves both of these things wrong. Many line breaks, runs good hard lines and a good set of hands? I'm not an avid NRL viewer and I realise a highlight montage doesn't show the full package but whenever I've watched him play (albeit limited), I've always been impressed.

He looks like he'll be quality in Super League to me. Not big enough to be a top prop but an ideal 13. He's a workhorse, one of those players winning teams need but few people notice. He's never played Origin and has only been selected in City/Country once, so he's clearly not anywhere close to world class, but if fans of a Grand Final winning side like Souths petition to keep you twice in two years, you must be doing something right.

I do think though that we should all be ringing the Warrington board as a matter of urgency to cancel this signing as Brisbane Rhino seems to think we’re wasting our time. I have no interest in what Sam Burgess thinks. We, as a forward looking club should be hiring people like Brisbane Rhino to provide that zenith of insights and ignoring scant word of mouth comments from novices like Sam Burgess.

Do you think he will be a bit like Mike Forshaw ?

From the videos I have seen of him...I think that is a pretty good comparison.
