If you look at how he wanted players in certain positions to play at Wigan, then our wingers and centres will be doing lots of work off our own line, the hooker will just look to supply quick ball to the halfbacks and forwards, the two second rowers will play 80 mins and the props will be mobile and be expected to find the floor quick and get fast play the balls away. It may just be that he played the tactics to suit the squad he was given at our place but if not, it’ll be bad news for guys like Josh Hodgson and Tom Burgess. Those two amongst others don’t fit in with the style of players he’s traditionally gone with.



As for him taking the Wire job or any job, he’s tied down full time with England for two years and I’m 100% convinced he wouldn’t give that away.
