I would say clarke would be at loose or second row. With higham and monas rotating at 9. Clarke can also cover the halves and the hooker position so it is looking good for next year

Not a swipe at all. just the reality is that we need myler as an option, even if just to cover for briers or monaghan when either is injured. sorry, but putting grix or clarke in the half back position is just not good enough. saints could pop in eastmond and that's why they are streets ahead of us now. we need myler just to keep the gap the same between us and saints. with eastmond they move further ahead of us. he reminds me of a young jason robinson. by getting myler we would just be stopping them pulling further ahead. compare our team with theirs man for man. how many of our players would get into their team? that would be a good test of how far behind we are, and perhaps the lead topic for another post.

Myler 7, Briers 6, Monaghan at 9 with Higham on the bench. If we're not signing a new loose forward then Jon Clarke can cover that position.

Would leave Harrison at 13. Certainly doesn't deserve to lose his place to Clarke.

Just a word of warning to all these people that are buzzing over us having myler next season(allegedly). If you are one of the Penny bashers wait until you see Mylers tackling, it is shocking.

Funny how Myler was the best thing since sliced bread when Wigan and Saints were rumoured, now he's signed for us we hear the Tomkins and Eastmond are better jibes. Eastmond isn't a great tackler either, Matt King actually laughed at him on saturday.
