It doesn't matter what the attendance is though as long as they are "proper fans" I hope we get thumped again Friday it will surely clear out the remaining JCL "infestation" I am being slightly sarcastic HTH

I suppose they could issue club stamps every time you went through the turnstiles, then when you have collected say 50, you could apply to become a provisional fan.

Great idea double stamps if we're playing poorly so you can catch upto the proper fans 'fanatics' being the ultimate target in our very own gloomy rewards system

We could utilise the stamp system to alleviate the clubs current form problems.



Given the number of experts on this forum, every time you get 50 stamps you get to play stand-off. We've tried every other combination so we might as well try a few carlsberg-drenched speccies, and they'd still have a better kicking game than Myler with a 2-pint pot in one hand and a hot-dog in the other.



Come to think of it, maybe that system is how Asotasi found his way into the team.

Having witnessed the 80-0 nadir, the Anderson years, not missed a home or away game from 86-90 and having worn some of the most dreadful replica kits ever to leave Ellgren with pride, I would suggest I deserve to spend every evening dressed in a burgundy smoking jacket, sipping cylon tea and having my evening meal served by to me personally by TS whilst Andrew Johns amuses me with anecdotes whilst buffing my slippers.

We have limited capacity in the stadium, what people don't seem to realise is basic maths. Every JCL that comes in takes a seat or a space on the stands. When we get full what will happen. We haven't got the resources to fit every one in which just means more JCLs mean higher ticket prices for hard working Warrington fans who have been there for years through thick and thin and now can't afford it. It's not just ticket prices that go up, its hot dogs, beer.



It's not racist to think of the old couple who were standing in Wilderspool when Bevan was there but now can't afford to go to the HJ because of the open door policy to JCLs who want to bring in smoke bombs and bang the bongo bongo drums for 80 minutes.



IMO the fault was with the board in 2004 deciding that an open door policy to try and attract new fans in to the new stadium was the way to go. All part of their leftist "family sport" agenda. Since then the number of new fans skyrocketed and although there have been some small reductions in the past couple of seasons it's not addressing the true problem. Shamefully not once have the board come round and said "we got it wrong" on JCLs.



I just want Warrington to be proud again like when I was a boy and you didn't have to queue up to get in to the toilets you just went up against a wall and sloshed around in your fellow Warringtonians' mickey.

Absolutely. The club has made a rod for it's own backs by trying to attract these kids who want to come, enjoy themselves, watch a winning team and drink pop. In the good old days, I could roll up (literally, quite often) at 5 to 3 on Fletcher St., walk straight onto the terrace to my favourite spot, continue to get lagered up throughout the game and become quietly oblivious to the ineptitude on display. If the club returned to these values then Richie Myler & Roy Asotasi's performances would improve dramatically.

It's what I call being retired or having a lifestyle with no real commitments. That or just plain jammy.
