I read it, looked at his join date and recent posts and chuckled to myself. Definitely just come out the woodwork!

Our best shot at improving all of this is the new CEO having an appreciation for Marketing.

I'll try to avoid a drummer/no drummer debate but one of the biggest factors that has affected the atmosphere at the ground is the most vocal of the fans moving into the SW corner.



I normally stand a little over that way anyway so can hear and join in, but the few times I've stood nearer the East stand I couldn't hear them properly and as such the songs hardly spread through the stand.



If those lot stood in the middle it'd filter out better.

I don't think the website is the problem, i may be wrong but when i think of social media the club website would have been way down the list of things i'd have thought of.

Physical Marketing in and around the town is the key to getting more new fans and bringing back a few that have drifted.



A few billboards would do the trick, turn the bane of many Wire residents' lives, the constant traffic, into a target audience.

It would be a start..

But I think word of mouth is the best advert any business can have.



So a great match day experience for current fans would transfer into more bums on seats for other people who then heard about it ....

True true.. I'm bringing a newbie to a few matches this season so I'm hoping for a decent atmosphere to draw them in!

As for the atmosphere, they could start with stopping the ear splitting chart music they insist on playing right up to the kick off. Same with half time as well. It's clear that a bit of miniature rugby and/or zorbing at half time makes people happier than having to watch teenagers gyrating to some music.

One Area we must really look at ? ... I'd say our Kicking Game before the website personally , But before that it obviously has to be wolfware or maybe even the washing instruction labels on the new tops so as the sponsors dont peel off after a good old spin cycle .

In 2013 Wire were 95th. Wigan were 113th & Hull FC 54th.



This year Leeds dropped from 5th in 2013, with no Cup Final, to 49th in 2014.



It suggests the Cup Final isnt the major factor in the scores.
