Published attendance figures that I saw for 2009 say a little over 8400, blame the journalists not me. (And no not wikipedia)Not quite sure why your horse is so high- it's only natural that success would increase attendances.

To be fair to jools - a glance (well, quick copy into Excel!) at this list:

reveals that our average in 2009 after the Huddersfield game in April was indeed 8,388 - very close to 8,400. Subsequent higher crowds took the full 2009 average to 9,221. Given our average for 2012 was 11,452, then actually that corresponds almost exactly to a 3,000 increase.
I see my original post about attendances has turned into a slanging match between Huddersfield and Warrington fans - definitely not my intention.

How is it irrelevant? The strength of the sport on the field depends heavily on the strength of the business off the field, which is heavily influenced by attendances. I was merely wondering why the team at the top of the table could only attract 5,500 fans. |

When the HJ first opened, they used to travel over in reasonable numbers.
