I've been a critic of Monas, but thought he was good last night. Did well for the first two tries.

Monaghan has had a great deal of stick and I have been one of his critics. It is now obvious is best position is that of Hooker. I thought he was outstanding against Leeds and can see why he has been successful in the Nrl in the past. I would like to keep him in the Hooker role.

Smith won't be happy with that he sounded pretty certain he would be here next season.
