If people are rugby league fans, they will chose going to watch their club Captain play for his country over watching the overpaid and underworked any day of the week.
If people would rather watch football on telly than go to a rugby match, international RL has a serious problem.
I know thingbs are tight financially atm and the Challenge Cup doesn't help, but lets get a deccent primrose and blue turnout tomorrow!

Ah, the old "If you're not going to the international, you're not a true fan" argument. Booooring.
I'm a true rugby league fan, however I'm also a football fan. I won't be going to Leigh, I will watch both games on TV. There is a perfectly good reason why I won't be attending, but I don't have to explain myself to anyone.  |

Exactly...I have been to at least one and sometimes two of every Test series,Tri Nations and Four nations since the early 90's....So i hope all these preachers will forgive me for missing this pointless mid season international....
Although R.L. is my number 1 I too am a football fan and i will be watching both games on the telly.... |

what will be the point of going to an uncompetitive, boring rout where there will be no atmosphere when i can go to a world cup party, watch said game then watch a competitive and potentially awesome match with a load of mates all having a laugh?

nowhere did I say people wern't true fans, I was pointing out that there is a problem with international rugby league if the North West cant find 10,000 people to watch their national team |
