| Quote Fantastic Mr Cat="Fantastic Mr Cat"not on here he doesn't, he's always getting complained about,
That being said he had a fantastic game against saints, and was pretty good against cas, i know hit ups wise we didn't use him much but he was pretty good in the tackle, put several big hits on.'"
I thought he was pretty good against Cas too, especially in the tackle where he was quite dominant at times. He generally does 10 minutes either side of half time, so 20 mins in total. It would be good to see that extended by 5 minutes per half so that Hill / Cooper are playing 50 minutes, I've never really looked how many minutes Philbin puts in - will try and remember on Thursday night.

BMM and Philbin have both been underused by Price before proving they can do more minutes.
Maybe Sita is the same.

I think so.
Perhaps Sita should be starting prop and we play him until he’s burning out to get a measure.

| I thought that, against Cas, the timing of his runs were off (or the timing of the pass). Akauola is something of a one trick pony In that he comes on for 10 minutes either side of half time, takes the ball on the burst a couple of times and scatters a few defenders. It’s all very predictable but that doesn’t make it any easier to defend against. As long as he can keep it all just this side of legal (I think that his technique came under scrutiny from the powers that be last season), and if we can manage a quick play the ball having sucked in tacklers, then it can be quite effective. Against Cas he was over running the pass and wasn’t hitting the line like we know that he can. As I say, I’m not sure where the fault lay.

Our passing on the whole is poor. Very rarely are our passes crisp sharp and where the receiving player wants it. I don't think we're any worse than most other sl sides.
This has a big part of the lack of attacking flair in the league on the whole. The amount of attacks that stop at the first pass is astounding given its a professional sport played by the games elite.

Couldn't agree more. Our passing from the acting half back is often too slow with the passer adjusting the ball then looking up and then passing. By this time the defence is well advanced and space to attack cut down. And that's not counting the passes at head height or too low or behind the man. For goodness sake it is part of the basic skill set.

| Wedged in between all the adverts down the side of the page, the pop up in the middle, and the football video clip (what's all that about ?), I managed to read in the Warrington Guardian that Gelling will be playing but that Doro is not included.

If that's the case, then it's another missed opportunity. To be frank, our unwilligness to give some of our youngsters a chance whilst the likes of J Clark and Akuolua amble through games is becoming as much an issue for me as our style of play and inconsistency.

I don’t think Doro is big enough to replace Sita and I think Clark has done pretty well so far this year.
Making the squad is a progression for Doro, a recognition that he has stepped it up so far this year. One step at a time.

| Clark has definitely stepped up this season and has a place on merit.
