| Quote hull2524="hull2524"on his day lineham can still finish, one of the best imo, depends how fit he is,'"
I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet (or maybe it has) but when was the last time Lineham actually played a game? Has he been playing for the reserves? Swinton? I've not even heard him mentioned in months on social media or anywhere else.
I just hope for his sake and ours he's up to the challenge tonight.

It really is quite amazing how cocky these Hull fans have become considering their attitudes and performances over the past 5 or so year and how they wanted Radfords head on a plate at the start of the season. Enjoy it whilst you can.

| This season had been especially poor. We can win the LLS with a slightly better than average team over a season. Hull however have virtually been Scott free of injuries all season. I've said it before and be ridiculed but I don't care. Hull are not great. Their style of play is boring as hell too.
To be only one point ahead of a league of teams riddled with injuries says everything. When they've come up against teams who have hit form like Cas, they've been battered.
Hull will need to take their chances to win tonight. Hull have zero improvement in them unlike Wigan and Saints.
FC win not win the GF. They won't even make the GF.

Not about being cocky,
Its about knowing we sold you a winger who is a decent finisher but couldnt put in a reasonable tackle on an Angel Delight. Said winger being drafted in for a pivotal game of the season when he has been deemed not good enough by TS until you are on your knees injury wise.
Money well spent?

| It's hardly surprising you are ridiculed, whether you care or not. Irrespective of the quality of the league (and as usual we spend more of our time running it down than looking at the good parts), Hull are clearly a top team this season and they have risen to the occasion several times. Their record against the rest of the top teams is excellent and I certainly wouldn't bet on them not making it to the GF.

| I tend to agree that the standard of SL has gone down over the last few years and this year in particularly injuries have hit more clubs than I can remember (of course the goons have been hit harder than anyone else in the history of sport - as if!), but those who finish top for the LLS have deserved the right to be there.
They can only play what's in front of them. If Hull win - fair play to them. They'll deserve it.
Can't complain with the nominees for the MoS, although I can't remember a single match where Chris Hill didn't come out with honours so am disappointed for him.
I've calmed down since last week, and although I've no intention to go, I will watch the match with a resigned view of the outcome.
I will not invest emotional energy on this.
I want us to win, I want a trophy, but on the other hand I have absolutely no expectations.

| Both had good games tonight Lineham has certainly been working hard to get sharper and his pace.
I watched him a lot tonight think he made some good decisions he was communicating with the team and think he was sound defensively. If he can maintain this attitude and keep progressing it will be money very well spent..
Was also happy to see how the team celebrated his trys maybe they too have witnessed the hard work he has been Putting in and hopefully Evans can work on his offence with Tom during the off season to come back next season even stronger!!!!

| Was very impressed with Toms defence tonight. That WAS SL standard.
A couple of awesome chases back and he actually looked bothered and half fast.
The 2 tries - probably my grannie could have scored them but he was in the right position at the right time.
Well done Tom - nice to say that.

| Think your a little hard on how easy his second try was.
Tom reaction was immediate how many times do we see ppl freeze as soon as a ball hits the floor? his kick through was well weighted many a time that would end up going dead and to collect and score the try under the pressure of playing for the lls and infront of the crowd of the club he left is no mean feat.
The Wigan game will be a test now, if he cam maintain that form and attitude. I'm sure Wigan will look to target him a bit more than hull did last night.
I really hope that Tom has turned a corner at the club and will commit to what's required on and off the field to really succeed at Warrington n put himself in contention for am England call up in the future
I think Kevin penny's again played well there are a few minor niggles with him, players are human n mistakes will be made with him it's generally the same ones tho shooting in early to close the play down if it doest pay off were fooked and the occasional knock on tho one wasn't a knock on ball went sideways. Cannot fault the lads effort or commitment bit I would ask the question is he the best we can get on that wing? No would be most people's answer I think the club will be willing if the right player becomes available to ditch penny.

| I do wonder if weve been sold the most incredible rope a dope performance ever
Tonyicon_surprised.gifk Tom, we want you to play really bad to start off the season, then were not gonna play you or Kevin, well have rhys and Matty on the wings, And the fans will be disappointed, opposition fans will think me inept and as we get to the finals all the coaches will be gameplanning for exploiting their flaws.
THEN WE BRING YOU BACK IN ANd WE WIN THE FINAL ON THE BACK OF IT,
I'll be the new jack Gibson.
