cricket was on about this tonight..it was in the 80`s i think..and did`nt we win something like 40 odd 30 odd..think john woods played as well..pretty sure cas played in their away kit we played in their home kit.it all seems a bit vague but it was cas away..sorry worthing wire just read the rest of the posts..i was there that day,like i said memory not wat it used to be..getting on in life,remember the great j woods scoring..ah the good old days |

Buhat does eddie know about what kit should be being worn! The rfl decided what kit should be worn, and your club were not wearing the home kit you were supposed to, cia your own choice, whether the rfl approved it or not, you rocked the boat and now dont like the water splashing in your faces. |

The wearing of principle kit at home is not cast in stone. The RFL can approve different options. See below for example, a sky game:

Here Cas, at home, are playing in their (drum roll) ....alternate kit!
i am told this was because this kit had just arrived and Cas wanted to 'promote it'. The Cas club asked the Giants if they would be kind enough to wear their principle kit for this game. The Giants kindly agreed and this was approved and confirmed by the RFL.
The Giants agreed to wearing the alternate kit to help Cas. Again I am told they did so on the proviso that the kits would be 'reversed' for the Giants home game.
The giants MD says he has the paperwork from the RFL confirming the kit option for sunday. so either
