Isn't there some type of irony here, that a Saints fan is trying to take the moral high ground about players, when he has a certain Leon Pryce playing for his side?....Now Leon is a guy who has been banned for squeezing an opponent's testicles, and has a couple of convictions for assault, including use of a bottle as a weapon.....Compare this behaviour to Joel Monaghan's drunken frolics with a canine and I know which character I'd sooner have a pint with, and it isn't the Wallace & Gromit lookalike Yorkshireman....

| Some of the attempted jokes on here from the plastic scousers and wigan fans are cringeworthy at best, i wouldn`t mind betting that these Saints and Wigan fans that are attempting to be funny are the same ones that recycle the xmas cracker jokes to use the year after.

So you're advocating sexually assaulting an animal as long as it means the wolfs get better players? That's sick and a very small time attitude.

Not as ironic as the Wigan fans making all the comments. For those of them old enough to remember the 80's they need to cast their minds back to a certain home-grown player who now coaches in Union that accidentally slipped his winky into a 13 year old girl after picking her up in a bar in a Spanish resort. The News of the World didn't sell alot of copies in Wigan that Sunday apparantly.

It's all true.
If im banned for talking about his sexual behavior then nearly everyone on rlfans.com would be banned.
I think you will find the whole of the rugby league world will be talking about him and not for his playing ability.'"
Derailing the thread.

| Quote St pete="St pete"He's 28, is that in dog years?
From what i hear he's been used as a centre more than wing so i imagine he will play centre with king on the wing.
It would be a mistake trying to turn him into a fulltime winger at the age of 28(dog years?) because it's hard to teach a old dog new tricks.'"
If the Australian national team think he is good enough to be a winger then thats good enough for me. Both Monaghan and King never played for Australia at centre

| Bridge is an out an out centre, Riley is a winger,
Atkins, King, JMon are interchangeable. One opo wing will have an absolute nightmare with the players probably switching several times during games.

| Realistically how often are we going to have a full strength backline anyway. Bridge usually misses half the season through injury and surely the 45 year old Brett Hodgson will keep needing to be rested as a result of being too old to handle SL. As a result of our long Challenge Cup campaigns we have to play a lot of games in the season. If everybody was fit my backline would be Hodgson; J Monaghan, King, Atkins, Riley with Bridge on the bench. He would be a useful bench player because if necessary you can bring him on the field at loose forward or hooker, but if you want to bring him on the backs, he's got the best footwork of any of our backs so if you introduce him fresh against opposition centres who have had the power players King and Atkins rampaging at them, then he can come on, put a few steps on and he would start creating line breaks.

They dont anymore, hence why he played through the world cup and wasnt given another chance. IIRC he was the one who casued the penalty try to be given to NZ.
Good signing for Warrington, strange how a guy 'retires' who had just signed a new one year deal to accomodate him, but never mind. He will get alot of abuse and it has to be expected, and it would be no different had it been the other way around.
Looks like Warrington have good centres/wingers and should do well. Should be a good battle next season.

nice to see you ignore the part about hock being a smackhead! i dont have a problem with a lad getting pi55ed up and getting a dog to lick his crotch, atleast he didnt go out and kick someones head in like cockayne, or take drugs like hock! simple!
