Re parking.. Who is managing the £4.00 parking on the site opposite to where KFC used to be?
Past few years it has been £2.00 or so to park during a game, now it's almost doubled during match times, but still cheapo during the day / non match days.
Thought it was 's chancing it at first but they don't appear to be going away.

Park in the £4car park buit get there abot 2 hrs before the game as they dont puty it up till then........
Mind you, an absolute bugger to get out of after the game....

I only used it once and swore never again as it took about 30 minutes to get out of the car park.
Plenty of side roads off Bewsey Road to park in. |

| Quote SLIMply a treble!="SLIMply a treble!"did you know that unless the fine is from the police or the council you don't have to pay it! they can only fine the driver, not the owner & have to be able to prove who parked it, by law you have no obligation to inform the enforcement company who was driving. my wife parked my car at a certain ten pin bowling establishment near where i live one day to collect the kids from school, there were no signs saying do not park, the place had closed down months before, i recieved a letter demanding £200 for parking there. i was out of the country at the time in perpignan watching the wire and informed them of the same. i also took some advice from a solicitor friend advising me as long as they cannot prove who was driving they don't have a leg to stand on! as i don't have to tell them who was driving.
now if they clamp you your fooked!'"
but they have cctv of every car entering the car park and have signs up warning you so they can enforce it. I know as I work for Tesco and when visiting stores you exclude your car from cctv to avoid the fine. |

so get some one else to drive your car! the store can retrieve your address from the dvla they cannot obtain the name of the driver. |

I always park in the Multi storey on academy way opposite the market hall, by the time you've walked there after the game the traffic usually cleared up. Used to park there when we played at Wilderspool too, gives you time to calm down before driving too.

Parking restriction finishes on car park opposite Central Station at 6.30 Mon to Sat so OK for friday night game. Free to park Sunday.
Also two free car parks up Orford Lane (one opposite The Hawthorn and the other near Irish Club)
