| Initially, I thought Michael Monaghan. He seems the mort dominant voice of the group. But then I thought, how many games will he play in?
My mind then started to work out the real candidates, and the pros and cons:
Briers: Final year, and will play a lesser role next year. But still leads us well.
Asotasi: Good leader, but will play low minutes.
Waterhouse: Led us out a few times, and did at Penrith too. But is he the 'right man'
Higham: Experienced, but doesn't look like a leader, doesn't come across as captain material.
Westwood: Too rash a character
All of the names don't scream 'consistency' or 'longevity' so it begs the question, do you make a call for the next 5-7 years? On this basis; Hill, Grix or Myler are genuine candidates. I'd happily be led out by either of the three, and they come across as good communicators.
For me, Chris Hill.

| For me I want Grix, the main reason is, he never gets the credit for his hard work, he's been one of the, if not the best player for us this season, he's so underrated...he deserves it for the last 3/4 seasons he's played for us

| Woody is a shout or even Chris Hill. We need someone like Moz, who lead from the front and would put his hand up in times of need to drag us through. Briers has enough responsibility. M Monas is also a good call and a natural leader.

| Grix. I've always liked my captains to come from the eye of the storm that is the forward battle and Simon is tough as nails, never gives in, leads by example and is totally committed.

| Morley was an unlikely captain and proved to be a great one.
So how about Ben Westwood?
Like Morley before him, a unexplainable decision, but could it work?

| I'm going to say something totally out of left field, Myler, really upped his game this season and certainly seems to be more vocal and getting better all the time at leading us around the park...
