Without apportioning blame, as this has been discussed a-plenty: if the coach and players can't muster a win next week, then it will be, probably, the biggest disgrace ever witnessed in a Wire shirt.

The teams around us are playing like it’s last chance saloon, I just don’t see that from our team at all.

Absolutely - Toulouse lost, but came very close to winning and showed a desperation that has been conspicious by its absence from us for some time now.

I share your fears. If there's one thing we can't accuse our club's players of not doing; is underestimating our opponents.

Exactly, just said on the other thread Phil Clarke as just said about tomorrow we will either win or we will lose by 50 and I fear that is more likely and that will really affect our points for/against

If we even win tomorrow, I'll eat my hat. If we win by 50, then I'll eat all the hats in a hat shop after purchasing all of them - (otherwise they wouldn't be my hats to eat).

I don't know if it's the fizz, the many concussions received in life or old age kicking on, but I think we're going to do it tomorrow.



We'll go in knowing it's a hard contest, knowing we have to concentrate and knowing it's never job done. We'll also go in as underdogs, and this lot need that, because any form of expectation makes them crumble. Wigan, perversely may being lazer focus to our band of misfits

I think we'll put in a comparatively better performance and one our fans will be happy with. I just can't see us winning unfortunately as Wigan are an excellent side (despite some enforced changes), and will be really up for this - lead by a stoked up Cooper. But stranger things have happened. And we were competitive v a quality saints side. And we are better as underdogs. And we do have good players when they turn up. Who knows? Perhaps I have underestimated our chances.

I think we will compete for a bit, maybe even score first. Then Wigan score a couple of tries to take the lead then we will implode when Cooper "tears us a new one".
