| Was at the Lisa meeting last Wednesday at Legends bar.
Had 2 pints at a pricy £3 a pint but it was better than the beer in the Mick Martyn bar. I do however miss the atmosphere at the MM.
Had the LSV and the owners of Legends thought it through they,d realise charging those prices and charging people to go in on match days is daft.
They should allow club memorabilia on the wall and allow kids and parents in after the match for a chat with the players. They might sell a few more pints that way and sell reasonably priced food who knows they might make some money on match days and give the staff something to do. I,d be bored senseless working there.
A lady Lisa member asked the smartly dressed lad behind the bar why they charged folk to go in on match days. She told me it was the law.
Surprised me and I don.t believe it.
Oh there I go moaning again. Ah well.

I don't know the full situation but.
If as fans you feel the ground is ripping you off, why hold a supporters association meeting at the ground? Surely one of the local Amateur Sides has a room availible to use,

I think Allan Rowley explained in his programme notes that it was built as a members bar. Monday was an experiment witht he bar being open to LISA members and Season Ticket holders I think.

| Went past the Legends Bar on Monday before and after the game. It was empty. Speaking to Don Boyle before the game, I think he was trying to spread the word outside the ground before the match to get people in. It seems they did'nt advertise it enough.

In these troubled economic times, every penny counts.
Simple fact is you can walk a further 200 yards to park in and pay £2.50 a pint.
or east/miners where it is even cheaper, a little further to walk, but still...

| God forbid me for daring to suggest this ...........................but in order to at least try to get people into the habit of going in, why not have a "happy hour" say cheap drinks (eg £2 a pint) between 1pm and 2pm on "normal" kick off time match days ?
Basic supplies of foodstuffs at reasonable rates would'nt put people off either !

| Seems like people have already made their minds up about which pub/bar they will use and it ain't at the LSV.
The advertising, opening and running of this stadium has been truly amateur. There just doesn't seem to have been a strategy by LSV or The Centurions to encourage people to the ground and I am afraid it is going to blow up in their faces. A successful business is directed by innovative and forward thinking personnel who make the most of their assets. Sadly this really hasn't happened and unless they get professional help from people with proven business acumen the only way forward for LSV an The Centurions is down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| The running and utilisation of the rooms/bars at the LSV has nothing to do with The Centurions, all they can do is suggest ideas AFAIK. The LSV are fast showing themselves to be a bunch of clowns. They obviously think they can survive without The Centurions

Totally understand the responsibilities at the LSV and who directs them. Unless either side accepts that so far the whole facility is not being utilised and marketed correctly the reputation of the place will be permanantly tarnished.
Alot of damage has already been done and the excuse of the recession will be used to cover all the failings. You ask anyone what they think of the Stadium and I gaurantee they will say fantastic facility but very expensive and a rip off.
Add to this the debacle with season tickets and the price of entry (especially for u16's) and people have alot to moan and groan about.
I just truly feel that both the stadium and the Centurions are in dire need of professional guidance in marketing and how the facilities can be integrated into the community in the most efficient and economical manner whilst also being appreciated by the people who use it.
