Sounds a good game but I’m hearing us shoot ourselves in the foot with some penalties for holding down and flops when we have Bradford pinned down near their own line. Jakes name came up twice at least for that already.

Seems we were the better team in the second 20 so cut out the silly stuff and a bit of calm near their line and we should take this. Keep giving Bradford pressure release yards and ball and they will make us pay.

I think we will have some very frustrated supporters who traveled over the hills today. Sounds like we lost the game on our own lack of discipline and errors. Commentary said both were in double figures.

Trouble is Derek, we are just an average side at the moment,take away the Saints contingent and we are very thin on the ground.

Josh Woods doesn’t convince me,and Pownall is a liability, we have to play Widnes 3 times this season which will be very hard.We have just beaten Swinton and Rochdale 2 of the weakest sides in the Comp, and think we are a good team.That 5th spot is between Fev , Fax , and us.

We need a couple of bodies on board yet.

Ian i totally agree mate,however,who ever expected us to be competing at the top end of the table at the beginning of the season? But you're right ,we do need to add a few more bodies soon,and see where we can go. This season is about sustaining our place in the championship,and trying to compete for bigger things next season.

Don’t worry Corey, I’m a glass half full kind of bloke. I didn’t expect to be saying we lost games against the better teams due to our own errors and lack of discipline this season, so that at least is a positive. We do need a few more players to compete at the top end for sure as the season gets on and we inevitably lose the better saints players.

Pownal needs a good talking to and short of numbers or not needs to know that he has to shut-up or be replaced on the field.

The lads and JD have my full support, but to keep bums on seats they will have to be smarter than it sounded they were today.

Derek,with every post folk keep saying nobody expected us to be challenging for a top 5 spot,after last season,and I was one of those people.



However, since those dark November and December days, we have added Hood,Emmitt, and the Saints lads to our Squad,making it a decent looking Squad, yeah we need a couple more bodies, but take Toronto and Toulouse out of the equation,and the next maybe 8 teams are all on a similar footing.We could benefit from the misfortune of Widnes , but we have to play them 3 times this season.

I forecast a Bulls win on the Prediction Comp, but after looking at both teams 17 players, I really expected a Leigh win.We didn’t score in the second half and got caned about 9 -2 on the penalty count, you can’t score with no ball.



Next week will be the acid test ,with no DRs available, could be a blessing to lose to Sheff.

Quite Ian. If we were done 9 - 2 on the penalty count in the 2nd half,then something is just baffling here. We coasted to a 30 - 0 lead last week then the penalties came in abundance and the game went sour(and TBH our discipline has been good so far this season). If we have suddenly just become a terrible indiscipline team all of a sudden,then i'm not condoning or defending it,but i'm scratching mi yed as to why. I'm sure some of the pens are justified,but if there were 20 odd in the game today, summats not reet.
