Fev are beatable, they've had 60 against them this year

That's right, they've conceded 60 twice at home. All we'd need is for them to play Cas and W***n, and suffer a similar injury crisis, the week before playing them!

A sobering thought - to win the GF, somebody could have to beat them TWICE!

I just hope you coaching team prepares for any game v Fev as if it was 'that' team that conceded 60!



The Fev team now are playing significantly different rugby and have an entirely different list of priorities now to what they had then.



However, as you say - we conceded 60, twice, therefore we must be beatable Ste!

wouldnt be so smug fev fans loose finn or kain for any period of time and you will find it tougher also if the refs start to penalise the likes of england, spears , dale ,grayshon an mr 3rd man in dickens for lying on in the tackle you will find it tougher as well

Why will they get penalised? Two men hold up the attacker and the third man comes in and they all fall down, quite legal smart play IMO.

Well of course we would, like fax wopuld losing Thacks or Handforth, or Batley losing Black, Sheffield losing Brown, Brams etc! However, if they were absent I'm sure Heppy or Bussey are capable replacements.







We play to the ref. If he sees an infringement he penalises us. You then have the kick and the advantages of the yardage - up to you then to make of it what you can! At the mo, we have the quality to play that game better than Leigh. C'est la vie.



Smug?? Well, finishing top of the league for the last 2 seasons, current GF winners, top of the league so far this season, beating Cas and giving wigan a game, 2nd team running away with their comp, 9's finalists, european champs, and NRC finalists with the final to play - I think after the years and years and years of oblivion, I'm permitted a little smugness don't ya think??



I seem to recall the Turley years when the Leigh forum was full of smugness - and why not!! Those days may return - and when they do, you will have a level of smugness 2nd to none owd cocker!!

The Fax game is the key one - I think you will win the rest.

2nd is achievable but I think we'll finish 3rd. 'Fax and/or Keighley to beat us. Still a marvellous season to get where we are after the close season we had.



We won't beat Fev.
