Golden point is a cruel way to lose but an exciting way to win. Although I think that whilst the last gasp goal kept fax in the game they were out on their feet and winning the toss worked against them.



Agree on fax halfbacks though, other than Penky there's nothing there really.

I though Gallagher's short stint changed the game. We knew we had a big enough and fit enough pack that we could just let him rip and give it everything for 20 minutes then take him off again. Think we were 6 - 16 down when he came on and 18 - 16 up when he went off.



Brilliant performances from all the players but to single out a few I thought Ridyard, Laithwaite, Maden, and McNally were superb.



Also well done to Paul Rowley. 2 matches in a row we've had a clear and effective plan that has done the job against a very strong Fax side.

Glad it's not just me who thought that! He made a break that coincided with Brierley's introduction and it all lifted from there.
