We play to the ref. If he sees an infringement he penalises us. You then have the kick and the advantages of the yardage - up to you then to make of it what you can! At the mo, we have the quality to play that game better than Leigh. C'est la vie.
Smug?? Well, finishing top of the league for the last 2 seasons, current GF winners, top of the league so far this season, beating Cas and giving wigan a game, 2nd team running away with their comp, 9's finalists, european champs, and NRC finalists with the final to play - I think after the years and years and years of oblivion, I'm permitted a little smugness don't ya think??
I seem to recall the Turley years when the Leigh forum was full of smugness - and why not!! Those days may return - and when they do, you will have a level of smugness 2nd to none owd cocker!!

Anyone is beatable in this league - thats why its so wide open and a lot of results tough to call.
Making the play offs is a big achievement for a club that was in major trouble in the off season so 'anything' we can get from that is a bonus, personally I think a NRC Semi and CC Quarter final and having a team still in with a shout of the play offs and Play off final is a helluva achievement for a club with so little resources.

Just pointing out that loan players can get recalled, injuries can happen as we have found out recently. Maybe its someone else's turn. TBH i can't see us beating fev unless they suffer a downturn in form. Shame their ground is not fit for SL at present as there could be an early vacancy as long as the RFL don't let the bradford buyers blackmail them. What happened to the new stands Fev inherited

having just walked in and not hearing much about this,it sounds like they've put the rfl in a very awkward spot here |

Planning has been submitted and should pass mid August, after that its all systems go. Everything is in place, people, money, etc to start immediately.  |
