According to the RFL don’t you have to have a Twinning Partnership agreement to have dual registered players?'"
Twinning is your terminology, not that of the RFL or Leigh Centurions

We have had three players from Wigan playing in our u20's how many have noticed? it is at this level where most of the partnership will be carried out, tough the way things are going we may well need dual contract next season as it would seem the people of Leigh wont turn out to watch their town team Wigan players or no (we actually had more last season than we have had this in the first team so why the histrionics).
www.therfl.co.uk/the-rfl/rules/i ... section=C1 explain the DR system and appears to be the new rules for this season (scrioll down to dual contracts).
most clubs certainly are NOT carrying out the system as it was intended to be that is very clear but then again the RFL should have perhaps gone into more details instead of relying on clubs acting to the spirit of the system.
As for the questions get along to the next fans forum or e mail them to Trevor or are you really that scared of loosing your anonymity? or do you really care as you have written elsewhere that you have not been very often recently.

| Quote jonny the leyther="jonny the leyther"Which is why I said this deal must have been done for a reason that benefits us, even if the reason is financial.
I really think people need to get away from the Wigan prejudices, we are not rivals to Wigan. Leigh fans care more about hating Wigan than loving Leigh.
If this partnership had been set up with St.Helens or Warrington I think far less people would doubt it.'"
All three on those clubs are huge rivals of Leigh Centurions, Wigan being the biggest, we are not in competition with a single Championship Club
Its time people started to realise this simple fact

Nope.
Neither Leigh nor Wigan will have any influence on Government policy.

| A pretty important point is that this is not, as some on here keep saying, 'dual contract' but dual REGISTRATION. The players involved are contracted (and have allegience) to one club, and one club only - and in case you've not realised it's not the Championship club.

They may be to some Leythers but not to the fans of those clubs. The last time Leigh were viewed as genuine rivals was when you won the Championsip with greats like Woodsy and Des. Wiganers actually want Leigh to do better these days and would enjoy seeing them in the top tier primarily for selfish reasons such as well attended fixtures, short travelling to an away fixture. If / when Leigh make it back into SL then and only then will any rivalry emerge. Even then, you have to progress. Widnes were wants incredible rivals to Wigan. Now, they are not. Wiganers want more 'Lancastrian' clubs in SL.
A minority of Leythers can cling to a so called rivalry but it is currently dormant and will be until Leigh re emerge as a RL force. As it stands survival / existence has been everything to Leigh in recent seasons which makes this obsession with a so called rivalry ludicrous. Leythers need to sell Leigh RLFC to Leythers.

OFF THE FIELD OF PLAY, IE FOR THE SUPPORTERS AND SPONSORS THAT BRING IN THE MONEY TO OPERATE, BECAUSE LEIGH CENTURIONS ARE A BUSINESS, NOT AN AMATUER CLUB OR CHARITY
DO YOU NOW UNDERSTAND?

Wouldn't say it was cryptic. I asked my son what rugby teams his schoolmates supported. He answered Warrington, St Helens or Wigan. None of them support Leigh.
We live in Leigh by the way.

You will have to expand your explanation.
If you are saying for the fans then only amongst many of the dwindling existing supporters. Sponsors?
