Whatever the facts, airing dirty linen in public is not a good idea for any club and I hoped ours was above it. It's the biggest threat to our stability going forward.

Indeed it is mate but there's only so many times you can tell someone to stop poking a stick at the dog before the dog bites back.



Very rarely do I post on here now let alone bite or get rattled,but when honesty proffesionalism integrity and motives are questioned by people who should know better given the massive sacrifices and effort we happily make for our club to succeed, then I'm going to defend not myself but our staff. Kick Amanda kick me. Kick rolls kick dukesy. Kick me kick mike. Kick mike kick des. Kick one of us and we all limp. It's what's brought success. Simple as that.



There's much more than meets the eye on many fronts but trust me we would really prefer not to get involved and retain the moral high ground but sometimes enough is enough.



That's the last I'm going to say about it because the board took an agreement on more than one occasion not to get involved in the forums etc. because it brings nothing but mither and is a place for the fans and the fans only.



Most of us stuck by that one.



And mish, one day we might have a brew and you'll be surprised at what you learn. It's all there in black and white.



I apologise to all genuine fans with genuine ambitions to help make out club be as good as it can be. Those with ulterior motives who enjoy the ride when we win but stick the boot in when something goes wonky will get found out soon enough.

Well I think that much too much has said on this subject and it should be left now for all of us.

I myself never go on Facebook or this Banter Page , but ive heard so much about this thread , which now appears to have risen on this Forum now , lets not make it into the same so-called 300 and odd posts as the Banter page .



Personally im sure other players can be sponsored , we are all committed to the same goal a successful Leigh Centurions , and should stop this points scoring of each other .

I stand by my posts on Facebook if genuine Leigh fans want to invest in the club LISA should be the vehicle for that. The clubs fans input will grow a lot more with 200 new LISA members rather than 1 player sponsor that would get filled with a business any how!!

Lets concentrate on supporting our club which is after all why we come on this Board.

I'll ask for one of LISA,s events this season to involve fans meeting our sponsered played and more of the team, which is what most fans want

join the touchdown club

you have to be a registered member on that certain bit of the facebook site so that means links cant be posted, to be honest its all a storm in a teacup with people misquoting and misunderstanding or just being downright bloody minded over certain posts, so much so that I have chucked in even going on it anymore, which is a pity as there could have been some good stuff on there if it had been used properly and not used as a political bandwagon for sob stories.

Not wanting to generalize folk, but as regards to Leigh Centurions, not interested in any the 'politics', all that matters to me is what happens 'on the field'....guess some fans are not like me.

When my mate Mike Callaghan was the commercial manager, he used to contact me about some sponsor packages that hadn't been sold - days before a game, so me and my mates would 'chuck in' for one at a reduced rate. We had some great days/nights out, but when you meet some players/directors etc (after a few beers) not everyone is to your liking. But I guess 10+ years ago, there was no social media, to post gossip/$hite !



More than happy just be a 'North Stander' and watch some amazing Rugby League !
