Ridyard's all round game was top notch. He ran the show for me. He appears in fine fettle as well coming into a very important set of games.

Our team has made strides over the last couple of months - I just hope it is enough to give us a chance in the 8's. It is going to be tough, though. Let's not kid ourselves.



I believe the bottom four of SL will have an extra gear in them if needed. So the question is, how will we respond to that?

I think the mighty Leigh will go up, the SL teams don't know what to expect and the lads have saved the best till last. Leeds will finish top but it's all to play for, especially at LSV in front of the greatest fans on the planet.

If I am being realistic, the MPG will be our best shot at it. If we can force the venue of that match to be played at LSV then all the better. That in itself will be a bonus.



IMO, Leeds will romp it. So in that respect I am pleased they do not form the oppositon as one of our 4 home games. Home wins will be key.



Lets also not underestimate the task we face at Post Office Road either. To not only stop Bradford from winning their must win match, but to even stop them registering a single point is quite remarkable. Indeed we only just managed to claim the 2 points in our game there as well in a very evenly contested match.



We must not be under any illusions. The hard work isyet to begin for us.

Fev will be missing a number of DR from Leeds won't they, surely the rules don't allow you to play for both teams in the 8s

Let's hope the idiotic fans who go around all the SL teams message boards, keep their traps shut and don't go spouting how "The mighty Leythers are going to smash their team". Although I can't see them showing an ounce of humility knowing their previous form.

Jukesy has let the cat out of the bag on Radio Manchester that we are playing Salford at home a week on Saturday. So much for the hoped for gentler introduction against a championship side!!

It will be on sky too.



I'll make that one before i fly to Spain if that's the case.

Well if the fixtures alternate home and away (like they should do) the schedule should look like this:-



Salford (H), Leeds (A), London (H), Hull KR (A), Hudds (H), Fev (A), Batley (H)



So no champ side till round 3 - 1 week earlier than last year though!!

Hi Charlie, I would really love Leigh to finish top of the 8's as you predicted on the Fax board but sadly the best I feel you can hope for is promotion through the MPG.
