I quite agree with some of your post but who exactly do we need to give respect to ....and why? Do you think we need to respect you because you're a SL club and we're just a lowly second tier one? Should we be doffing our caps the the big man upstairs then wait patiently to have our s spanked before saying 'thank you very much kind Sir' - is that what you mean?

No and you know it isn't. The way a lot of your fans are going on you're going to hammer us and that's just sheer stupidity/delusion. Anyone in their right minds would predict a close encounter but you've got idiots on here, and on our board, quoting Leigh wins by 20, 30, 40 points. If that happens we've had a seriously bad day at the office. Maybe it's just unfortunate that some of your more vocal fans (Charlie) also appear to be gobshoites!



I'd be telling our own fans the same if they were spouting the same nonsense but I think they all know how tough a draw this is. Even our own numpties aren't making any wild claims of taking you to the cleaners.



I'll tell you one thing though, this will be a belter and the atmosphere should be something special.

So whats the final score for you?

No idea! If I had to put money on it I'd say Salford by 10-12. If either team wins by more I'd expect it to be Salford being the (currently in-form) SL team. A narrow Leigh win wouldn't be a huge shock but I'd be disappointed given our recent run of form. If we can withstand the early Leigh barrage and get our noses in front by more than 6-8 I'd expect us to see the game out as even with injuries & bans I think the boys will be very confident after the Easter wins.



If the game was being played at the AJ Bell I'd be very confident.

I agree with your thoughts on how this game should pan out, but don't expect Leigh to fade. The vast majority of their points have come in the second half of games when (admittedly part-time Championship teams - with the exception of Bradford and London) have faded.

Have too agree with Manc sh**house!! Done of our fans are going very overboard and a little too confident we are coming across as very arrogant!! As it is I think we will by 8! But people saying we will smash them just makes us look daft!! It will be a class day class atmosphere and a very good game either way!!! Think a lot of people underestimate Salford man for man they compete with any sl team!!

I actually think it might be Leigh that will be withstanding the early Salford barrage (similar to the Bradford match).



But as long as we get to grips with the match sooner than we did in the Bradford match then we'll see a great game.
