Two up, two down would only work if there's two teams ready to come up every year. In theory, we could end up with four up, four down anyway.

I'm ready to burst with pride with what our lads did out there last night. We achieved beyond my wildest expectations and every one of those lads are heroes.

What a fantastic game, just matched one of the best teams in the country, there's not many Super League sides will go to Headingly and run Leeds that close. They've done the club, the fans, the town and themselves very proud indeed.

Commiserations on losing but my god what a fantastic performance the Leigh team put up. Stand out team in the Championship and you showed why last night.

And despite an unbelievable flattering scoreline of 25-12 for Leeds...WE ALMOST DID.

Have I ever 'enjoyed' a game as much, where we lost......in 40 years of watching Leigh - doubt it.

Oh, and Jamie Peacock was immense, just as well for them lot.

My youngest daughter and her husband watched it on Sky.



They are both coming on Wednesday with my grandson who incidentally scored for the Miners under 8's last night.





He still likes Man U though but I am working on that.
