Well clever ploy or not people seem to be buying into it, let’s hope the LISA board are strong enough to make the right decisions.



Indeed if the club is that dependent on them, maybe it’s time for Maurice’s call from years gone by for them to have a place on the board, or at least attend board meetings

Any sporting club is only as strong as its fan base , be that individual ticket buying supporters , Season Ticket holders or club owners who put in significant amounts



When an owner is contributing more than the cost of his personal match ticket he is essentially subsidising everybody else's , if he chooses to not do that , it his his perogative



We are where we are , for us to improve where we are might well require a larger number of its fan base to contribute more than the cost of their match ticket ( be that an individual ticket or a ST ) than just the one person who has been doing it in recent seasons



It isn't compulsory , nobody is being forced , but let's stop moaning about it

LISA has continued to support the club by contributing funds to add to the player budget year on year including the last 3/4 years



Obviously during that time of Derek's investment into the club what tends to happen is contributors reduce as fans don't see the necessity , by it's very nature it comes to the ' fore ' when times aren't as good , that time is now , all donations into LISA are used to supplement playing contracts



With regards the suggestion of LISA being represented on the BOD , that has been considered and voted on in the past , and in the past LISA representatives have attended board meetings , is it really a requirement ? No , not really

McNally bollards - been a Leigh player for a while now, seems general knowledge. If it’s to fund other players the club should just say so

LISA support the signing of players by contributing to the playing budget every year ince it's inception , in 2005 it was put to the membership that it could fund junior development instead , that idea was voted down , just because the club has had a benefactor willing to put considerable finance into the club on 2 occasions hasn't meant the money raised hasn't been given



LISA waits until it has a set amount in the acc and then transfers a set % of that to the club ( in recent situations when the clubs ( sporting club Leigh ltd ) actual future has been in question money has been delayed until assurances by the owner/s have received ) , so the balance of the acc never becomes too great



The agenda of a LZiSA meeting is set by the members , they are free to ask any question they like , if you are a member , attend and ask



By focusing on Gregg , maybe the club will be able to look at other players ( although it is very late in the day right now ) although publicising that right now isn't the cleverest idea around , IMO

So because the owner isn't willing to subsidise the cost of a match ticket by 200% this season you are moaning ? , are you going to personally pay him back your share ?
