I completely agree with starbug. The starting structure of the bom has done well to last as long as it has and that unless you were all truly aligned it will all boil down to who has most brass (therefore votes) rather than ideology.

,that ' offer ' was designed to smoke out the supposed ' heavy investors being refused entry to Sporting Club ' at that time



My shares, like everybodys were/are worthless, they are nothing more than a commitment to invest more in truth ,strangely the morning Dereck rang me I was walking the dog contemplating how I was going to obtain almost the exact amount I was offered to settle a debt that would allow me to continue in business, very ' spooky '



However, I would have sold them to any of the current BOM as they all in my opinion have the best wishes of the club at heart, you have to remember Sporting Club Leigh was originally set up to prevent a single individual gaining an overall majority



I have no doubt that once again my comments and opinions will be construed as bitterness and personal attacks on the current administration, nothing could be further from the truth , they are just observations, I think the BOM are doing a good job up to now, and hope that Johns decision to step down does not stop or slow down the good work being done

What you have achieved so far, and I'm not just talking about what has happened on the pitch, has been as a result of working brilliantly together and I dread the day that one person, however well-intentioned, takes control. Anyone attempting to do so would be well advised to reflect on what has been achieved as a result of teamwork, both on and off the pitch.

The beginning of the end of the BOM in its "In it together" glory was revealed here. Actually it was apparent quite a lot earlier but this was when it was apparent. Played a shrewd game has DB it would seem.



Are we all still in this together?



Whatever happens, Andy Mazey's efforts to get a consortium together were immense and he's provided a professional face to the club and been a brilliant spokesperson. The fact that the remainder at the club hasn't been able to say so, and has instead resorted to petty changes to the program and negative publicity in twitter bodes ill for our future PR.
