In a way, I suspect you are right. Maybe we are asking for the extra £15k, so that we don't have to dip into what is set aside for other players? We do certainly need more than we have at the moment!

I would have no issue putting into LISA, but not by the club putting a gun to my head. They have basically ignored LISA over the last few years, which as such has now pretty much lost its identity and needs to be reinvented to promote itself more.



And also, how much money does LISA have in the bank, not being used for years to contract players must mean they have at least 3 years of subscriptions in there which must be quite a significant sum

Clever ploy? What squandering millions on overpriced rubbish for 2 years and then asking a primarily working class fanbase to dip further into their pockets? Utter joke personally.

Could not agree more a few people who I have spoke to who usually sponsor players have said they not sponsoring this year as the club getting worse every year wanting more and more

The fanbase of most RL clubs is predominantly working class. About this time last year, members on the Bulls forum were pledging 25 quid a pop (IIRC) to sponsor a player. Though January is a tight month in most households after the expense of Christmas, were there a similar scheme on this forum Bongser would not begrudge forgoing a few light refreshments to stump up his share.
